The bedrooms on the top floor of our house are ridiculously hot at night when my kids are all trying to sleep up there.
I don’t know about you, but for me, it’s nearly impossible to sleep when the temperature is above 70 degrees or so during the summer.
I just have issues sleeping when the temperature is too hot. I think that my kids have inherited that from me, too. They are not sleeping well lately, and I’m almost positive that it’s because it’s just too hot in their bedrooms at night. I don’t know what the problem is with the A/C upstairs, but it’s just not working correctly. The central air conditioning system works just fine in the rest of the house. I mean, sometimes the rest of the house actually gets too cold and I even have to turn the A/C down so that we won’t freeze down on the bottom floor. Meanwhile, my poor kids are sweating and miserable upstairs. I feel bad for them, but I don’t really know what to do about it other than buy them window unit air conditioners for their bedrooms. That seems to be a waste of money, though, if you ask me. I mean, with our central air conditioning already running downstairs, that would just be a pull on our electricity and cost me more money every month. I guess I’m going to have to call our local HVAC company and have them come out to see what the issue is up there. Something has to be done.
