My local electric company was offering discounts on smart thermostats.
They were trying to inspire everyone to upgrade their thermostats to the smart thermostat that had not as of yet.
The price was pretty cheap, which was great incentive. However, as quickly as they started this smart thermostat deal, they were all sold out within less than a week. They planned to order more from whatever HVAC supplier they use to get these smart thermostats at bulk prices. However, as of now they have not got any more in stock. I am waiting for them to get more because I have an old dial thermostat that I have been wanting to replace, and have not got around to it. And if I can get one of these brand new smart thermostats at a discounted rate, I would rather jump on that than have to go to the regular store and buy a smart thermostat at regular retail price. I would much rather take advantage of the great and most wonderful discount that my local electric company is pushing out at the moment on these smart thermostats! However, if they do not get more in soon, like maybe within the week, I will just break down and go buy one at the regular store at the normal retail price. Because I really need a new thermostat all together. It has been way too long since I have got myself a brand new and totally up to date thermostat. So it is time for a smart thermostat in my home as soon as humanly possible.
