When you are poor, sometimes you know how to solve a problem but you can’t because you don’t have the money to do so. Money makes the world go around, especially in this country, and if you don’t have any then you are in deep trouble. For example, when my car broke down I knew what was wrong with it, and I knew how to fix it, but I didn’t have an extra $400 to buy the part. Without money, I was incapable of solving my problem. Not long ago the same scenario happened, only it wasn’t my car, it was my central HVAC system. A long time ago I started watching a lot of different HVAC repair and maintenance videos on Youtube and social media. I did this because I knew how expensive HVAC repairs could be, and the more I could do by myself the more money I could save. I think I learned a considerable amount of tips and tricks and heating and cooling upkeep, but there are still many repairs that are outside of my abilities. Without the money to pay for repairs, all I could do was keep watching videos and learning more about HVAC systems until I found the solution. That solution never came, unfortunately, but my research did lead me to a local man who sold refurbished A/C units for cheap. My new air conditioner is very small, and is mounted in the living room window, but at least it works. Now I have cooling in one room of my house, which is better than nothing.
