Unofficial pricing tiers

The business I run offers a bunch of unlisted pricing tiers.

When people from the community choose to book my services, I offer them my normal price.

When tourists and outsiders book my services, I charge them a special rate – which is close to twice as much as I charge the locals. None of this is actually written down officially, of course, because it’s in a legal gray area. I’ll talk about it here, however I won’t tell you the name of my dealer, just in case. I don’t truly feel guilty about it at all, because the tourists who visit our town tend to be impressively wealthy. They honestly don’t seem to adore spending a few hundred extra dollars on their heating and cooling machines. In fact I found that rich people are more comfortable being overcharged for Heating and A/C machine services, as insane as that sounds. To people who are more like me who value a dollar, you look for the cheapest deals. To the rich they think that paying more for Heating and A/C services means you get better results. To them currency is everything, so they feel as though the lavish Heating and A/C corporation is more reputable than the value brand provider. This is why I offer several Heating and A/C pricing tiers, because I don’t want to rip off any of my friends and neighbors. I love taking care of the people in my community, and offering wonderful Heating and A/C machine repair at an honorable price. For the tourists with currency to burn I will take advantage! If this neighborhood ever loses its tourism business, I might have to start raising my Heating and A/C machine rates for most people.
