Using our Portable Heater

Using our portable gas furnace is our number one thing to do whenever I can’t get the temperature right in our office.

Trust me, that is frequently.

Where I used to work, which is only a few blocks from where I am now, all of us also had Heating and A/C problems. There was the executive manager’s office upstairs, and the air conditioner was controlled by the thermostat in the VP’s office downstairs. It was regularly actually cold in the VP’s office because the girl upstairs was hot-natured! Plus, tepid air rises, so her office was regularly hot. I actually thought it was going to be the only site that was care about that, but lo and behold, our current job has all sorts of Heating and A/C quirks, too. No matter how low our boss sets her thermostat, it never gets cooler than 74 degrees. That is too tepid for her comfort. In our office, the air conditioner seems to blast out on me care about a rocket blast, so I am often cold while our boss is perspiring through her shirt. In fact, you can often find me with a portable gas furnace clogged in and blowing tepid air on me from the left while the air conditioner blasts cold air from from the right. I guess it is not great to waste energy care about that, so I wish the air conditioner worked care about it is supposed to! Granted, our electric bill is included in our rent, so it doesn’t actually cost us anything, but it is pretty darn discouraging. I believe I spent about $25 on our little portable heater, and it has been the best purchase ever.
