Air conditioning at gyms can be dubious at best

At the beginning of this year I decided that enough was enough, and i wasn’t going to let myself take the straight-forward route and live care about a piece of garbage anymore, then for the past numerous years, I have been letting myself slide.

I have not been taking nice care of myself mentally or physically, and the results have been pervasively disadvantageous.

I guess my usual care regarding my mental health is slipping along with my physical health, and it was finally time to grab the bull by the horns and make large changes. That’s why I went out and hired a personal trainer along with a personal nutritionist in January. Since then, I’ve been working my butt off trying to get back in shape and trying to mend everything in my life… However, one of the most crucial things that I realized was the critical nature of finding a comfortable venue to get physical exercise. For many years, I had a gym membership that I didn’t use. It seems as if every time I went to the gym, they had some kind of A/C failure going on. From the moment I would walk in the door, I would be drenched in sweat and struggling to breathe through the heat and humidity trapped indoors! Without AC, it was just sweltering. They usually had standing fans blowing around every corner of the gym, however this ventilation only served to blow nasty sizzling air in various places. There was never sufficient cooling or air filtration for the sweaty and dirty air being created indoors. With all of this low quality indoor air and physical discomfort, it’s no wonder I had such a concern getting to the gym. These days, I splurge on a high-priced gym membership instead… although I can consistently count on sufficient A/C.
