Energy saving tips and updates

I wanted to make the climate control in this house as efficient and affordable as possible.

When I moved into my new home, I knew that there would be plenty to update. This was a home I purchased for a great price but with a ton of need for upgrades- both aesthetically and technologically. After I got the initial decorations and color palette upgraded I moved into the technological side. The heating and cooling in the house was horrendous so I called my HVAC provider and asked about updates and energy saving tips for the home. My HVAC provider highly recommended a furnace and air conditioner with good SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) ratings. They also recommended updating our dial thermostat to a programmable thermostat. The smart thermostats make it possible to program the air conditioner and furnace to work less while I’m out of the house and kick on when I come home. I decided that from the money I had set aside to update the house that I would use it to upgrade the HVAC system just as the HVAC provider had recommended. I wanted to make the climate control in this house as efficient and affordable as possible. An HVAC technician was sent out shortly after to upgrade my HVAC system. The HVAC technician worked very quickly and I was enjoying my highly rated air conditioner and furnace the very next day. My monthly heating and cooling bills have never been lower, and my home finally looks- and feels- modern! Later on, I was finding that the heating and air conditioning was having a hard time reaching the back room. I considered a portable space heater, but the HVAC provider had encouraged me to look into zoned HVAC and- while it was a little pricier- it really took care of that final little issue.
