Glad I don’t have a private session after all

When I decided that I wanted to lose weight I found a local gym that offered personal training.

I knew I didn’t have the stamina to stick with a gym longer than a few months. I needed someone waiting for me and holding me accountable. I also had no clue how to work out. A personal trainer would tell me what muscles I needed to hit and how I could work them. I originally pushed for a private fitness class. I wanted to have one-on-one instruction with a trainer. I also didn’t want anyone watching or competing with me working out. The times and the trainer I wanted didn’t yield those results though. I ended up with a semi-private fitness class. One day a week I do get the trainer to myself, the other two days I signed up for I share my trainer with a guy Matt. At first I was upset about a man watching and judging me working out. Now I prefer the days with Matt. It is fun doing partner fitness drills like throwing a medicine ball back and forth and helping each other to stretch. It is also nice not being the only one out of shape. Matt and I have really good banter back and forth. I am not going to lie, I am interested in him and hoping he asks me out pretty soon. He has seen me at my worst. I am red faced, sweaty and a sloppy mess after an hour session. He still is friendly, flirty and nice to me.
