My girlfriend has been really concerned with safety lately, she won’t stop talking about the virus and she just seems unable to relax.

She is afraid of all of the germs, dirt, and bacteria in the air. It isn’t helping that she is continuously watching and reading about the virus, I get that she wants to stay informed however in this case it is only feeding her fear. I realized I needed to try to do something about it. I love her and I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable in her own home. I decided to check in with my local HVAC company to see if they would have any suggestions that may help me with the problem. I talked to a heating and a/c professional over the phone, and they gave me a list of ways that I could improve my indoor air quality, improving my indoor air quality would protect us from dirt and germs which is what my girlfriend is afraid of. There was a whole home air purification system, UV light, HEPA filters, and air purifiers. I decided to go with the HEPA filter. It sounded really good, and because it has so many tightly woven fibers it will catch 99% of germs and bacteria. I purchased it and surprised my girlfriend with it. She was so happy and she felt so much better. I explained it to her and showed her how it works, and how it will help to protect both of us and keep us safe. She looked visibly relieved and thanked me.
