I want you to know that your HVAC units are eventually going to stop working at some point, and you are going to have to accept that as a reality. I have lived in a lot of houses, and I have owned a lot of HVAC units. I am also an HVAC technician, and I have worked on thousands of HVAC units. HVAC units break down. HVAC units are not made to last forever. Sure, your HVAC unit is supposed to last a certain period of time, but the HVAC units often start experiencing problems before this time. If you want to make your HVAC unit last longer, you are obviously going to need to do all of the maintenance required for an HVAC unit, but even then, it is no guarantee that your HVAC unit is going to last forever. It would be much better to show up to HVAC ownership with the proper attitude in mind. Your HVAC unit isn’t going to last forever. Your HVAC unit is going to break down. Your HVAC company is going to charge you money to fix your HVAC unit. However, you are not investing in your HVAC unit. You are investing in the comfort and safety of your family with HVAC repairs. If you have the right attitude, it might change your whole outlook.
