I couldn’t believe that the A/C equipment failed on the second floor

I actually got started working at the hotel approximately 3 years ago.

Back then, I was working as a housekeeper.

It was my responsibility to disinfect the bathrooms, empty the trash, and make all the beds. I spent numerous months working especially hard before I finally acquired a promotion. My first promotion was the head of housekeeping. It was a lovely task because I finally had full-time hours, and since I was a manager, I also acquired benefits like dental, vision, and health. After a year went by, the owner of the hotel easily offered to make me the manager. I knew the task would come with plenty of headaches, and every day seems worse than the previous. I have been the manager for the past several weeks, and I deal with all sorts of complications. This week, all of the A/C equipment on the second floor went on the fritz. All of us had nine rooms rented on the second floor, and every one of the guests were concerned about the A/C equipment problems. I could not blame any of the guests for grumbling, because I would be bothered as well. The temperature outside is around 74 degrees, and I easily can see that it is necessary to run the A/C equipment in order to be comfortable. I actually offered to transport all of the guests to a different room, however a few of them demanded a refund. All of us lost practically $1,000 due to the complication with the A/C equipment. Our maintenance staff is seriously lost, and the owner of the hotel is dragging her feet! Her answer to this particular issue is to keep those rooms vacant for the time being. That will not be helpful when our tied up season is directly around the corner.
