At the end of sophomore year, a couple of my friends were fortunate enough to get a job at the amusement park in town.
I truly wanted to toil at the amusement park, however I did not get hired that summer. This summer, I got a job at the restaurant with my friends. My best buddy Jack was laboring as a server and they needed someone to toil as a dishwasher, but she suggested myself and others for the job and I already had an application in the system. The director called myself and others on the cellphone and I came in for an interview. I didn’t suppose much about the job of a dishwasher, however I felt fairly certain that I could handle the job without any problems. I did not anticipate the intense heat that I would face each night at work. The restaurant had Central AC in the dining room, but there was no Central AC in the dining room. It was incredibly warm and humid, especially in the area where the dishwasher was used. The dishwasher used warm steam to clean the dishes. It felt like a sauna or steam room inside of the dining room and I was annoyed. I thought I wanted to toil with my friends at the restaurant, but that turned out to be an awful idea. I lasted a single summer. The next year, I decided to take a job laboring at the library.I got to toil inside of a building with Central AC and I also got to toil with kids. The job at the library was a single of the largest reasons why I decided to become a educator.
