I had three emergency HVAC repairs this weekend

My best friend and I work for the same HVAC repair company.

We work on opposite weekends, so we rarely have any time to go fishing anymore.

We used to enjoy going to the river almost every weekend and then I got a job working at the same place as him. I thought we would be working on the same weekends, but we are on the opposite schedule. On Saturdays and Sundays, we don’t have to go to the HVAC repair business or report for a schedule. On Saturdays and Sundays, there are only emergency services. Customers have to pay a premium fee for service on Saturdays and Sundays. We try to ask customers to wait until Monday unless there is an emergency. I certainly hate to charge a customer $75 to investigate a noise that isn’t causing any real problems. We only respond to emergency calls that are actual emergencies. Last weekend Jack was on call and he had three calls. It was a relatively quiet weekend. He didn’t even have to respond to any of the calls, because they all wanted to wait until Monday when they found out that there was a $75 fee for the weekend service. This weekend things were much different for me. I had three emergency HVAC repairs. On Saturday I had to call from different residential customers. Both were willing to pay the premium service fee to have the HVAC systems repaired. On Sunday I had another call about a furnace issue and the customer did not want to wait until Monday to have the problem fixed.
