I like doing a tumbling based work out

I am a gymnast and I do a tumbling based workout everyday. With gymnastics, basically all areas of the body are getting targeted. I will say when it comes to bicep work, I am lacking a bit. I don’t really mind though. I just want to look good in a swimsuit and have fun working out. Tumbling is a great cardio and strength training workout. I like that the sport is so broad too. Somedays I choose to do back handsprings. With that work out I know my arms, shoulders and back are getting quite a workout. It is also very cardio heavy. I string multiple tricks in a row and my heart rate goes crazy afterwards. It is especially rough if I toss a round off in there. If I choose to do walkovers, that is more balance and holds. It is like an advanced form of yoga I guess. I need to have a good arch and split position in order to be successful. I need to slow the trick way down and have perfectly straight legs. After walkovers my quads and triceps hurt. One of my favorite tumbling days is cartwheel day though. I do aerial cartwheels which means I don’t use my hands. It is all my legs getting me over. If I do an hour of that, my butt and legs are killing me. If I ever want to get more ab work, I just start doing back tucks. No matter what I choose, it is way more fun than doing squats, lunges or weightlifting in my opinion.
