Last week I had a commercial repair scheduled at the motel on the interstate.
I had to replace two of the wall HVAC units on the second floor.
The owner of the motel remodeled the rooms and got rid of the old Heating and Cooling equipment. I was at the motel all day Tuesday and Wednesday working on the contracting job. Everything went well on Tuesday and I only had a few hours of work to finish up the next day. I did not go to the hotel until after 10. By that time, people were beginning to check out of their rooms. The hotel lobby was much busier the second day then it was the previous day. I ran into an old friend while I was waiting for the manager to get me the keys to the rooms on the second floor. The guy was someone that I went to school with. He married the prom queen and they had a couple of kids together. Last time I talked to him, he was happily married. I asked him about his wife again, but this time he didn’t say too much at all. In fact, he tried to act like he wasn’t married. I sure don’t remember him getting a divorce yes, but maybe it was the other woman that was with him at the motel. It’s possible that she did not know that he was married. It’s really juicy gossip, but I’m going to keep that information to myself. I don’t want to get in the middle of any drama.
