Last week, I decided to transport the old window machine a/c to the family room because the weather has really been heating up outside.
However I can’t sleep well at all when the temperature in the home is too hot, and so I knew that I needed to start thinking about getting the a/c up and running for the incoming summer season.
I am for sure one of those people who can’t really sleep well when the temperature is too high in their room at night. I have some friends who can sleep no matter how sizzling it is indoors, but I’m just not like that at all. I enjoy having the air conditioning and getting our room as frigid as I possibly can before I snuggle down under the covers to go to sleep. But, when the weather starts heating up, I can’t sleep at all until the a/c is running strong. I guess that’s why I decided to get the a/c machine from the storage part in the basement and get it all cleaned up for the summer. I knew that once I got the window machine a/c all fixed up and installed in the family room, I would start to sleep much better! Anyway, when I got the a/c machine off of its shelf in the garage, I lost my precious footing and I fell backwards and ended up dropping the heavy a/c machine right on the top of my right foot. I never knew how heavy the a/c machine was until it landed right on top of my exposed right foot! It hurt so much, I was sure that it had broken a bone. It was easily the worst feeling! Even worse than that, now I can’t carry this window air conditioning unit up the stairs and so my bedroom is still sizzling and stuffy!
