Now the laundry gets dry super fast

I do lots of laundry after noticing that our dust irritations were getting worse.

  • At first nothing I did really helped our symptoms abate, either.

I was dusting all of the surfaces in our home, mopping the floors, and vacuuming the rugs all at least once each day. I thought that doing all of those things would help me quit suffering from respiratory problems but it didn’t. Then my doctor told me to install an air purification system with a HEPA filter and UV-C bulbs for additional air cleaning in the house. Even doing that didn’t completely remove our symptoms. The air purification system helped more than anything else at that point, but it wasn’t enough for us. Then our doctor suggested that our clothing and bedding could be aggravating our allergic reactions and so then I changed the detergent to a better brand and instantly our concerns started to lessen. Once I got the same results with every load of laundry more than two times in a row, I decided that I should rewash everything. The only issue I have now is that our dryer isn’t working the way it should. I have to leave the loads in the dryer for almost two hours just to get the fabric all the way dry. I asked our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation if they handled cleaning the dryer exhaust vents. They said they could send someone out the very same afternoon. They use a snaking apparatus that is connected to a power drill and the corporation did all of it from outside. They didn’t have to move the dryer to get access or even come in the house for the job. After he said he was finished, he told me to turn on our dryer for a few minutes so we could get rid of any additional dust and lint that didn’t come out with the ventilation snake repair. And now that our dryer vent is clean, it only takes me 40 minutes to get a load of laundry bone dry.
