One of the best gyms I was ever in

One of the best gyms I had ever been to was in a foreign country. It was a community pool with hot tubs and a sauna. The pool was olympic sized and had a lap pool right next to it. Inside the facility there were two gyms. You could go to the right side that had all the fitness gear you could want. There were treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, rowing machines, and tons of weight benches. The left side was all more specialized work out stuff. I found jump ropes, wobble boards, a punching bag and tons of mats to play around with. I honestly preferred the left side of the gym. I liked having a huge room to stretch in. I also liked experimenting with different equipment. I hadn’t jumped rope since I was ten years old. I had never tried a wobble board before. The punching bag was a really good time as well. I ended up doing a full hour workout in the gym. Afterwards I rinsed off and then swam in the pool. I couldn’t help but do laps back and forth. It was a relaxing cool down but also more cardio work. I worked out at that gym for almost a week. By the time I went home I noticed I actually lost weight on vacation rather than gained weight. It makes sense though. I went from 45 minute workouts at home to almost two hours of working out, hiking and walking around. Too bad I can’t live a lifestyle like that.
