Recent repair wasn’t fixed right

Last month, my wife and I had to call an air conditioner repair service.

We knew there was an issue with the air conditioner, because we didn’t feel much cool air coming out of the ductwork.

Most of the time, the air coming from the ductwork feels cold and frigid. When I put my hand up to the ductwork, I could only feel warm air coming out of the air beds. My wife and I called the air conditioner repair service and made an appointment. They had a same-day service appointment available and my wife and I were happy to take the two o’clock spot. After the air conditioner repairman evaluated our system, he proposed that the problem was a faulty blower motor. My wife and I had to pay $900 to have a brand new blower motor installed. That was last month, and we are already having additional issues with the air conditioner. I called the air conditioner repair service, so I could schedule an appointment. Thank goodness the blower motor is under warranty for the next year. My wife and I found out that the blower motor was not installed properly. The incorrect installation caused some problems with the motor. We had to have a second blower motor installed in the air conditioner. I don’t know if these problems happen frequently, but I’m really glad that we did not have to spend an additional $900 to fix the problem. Hopefully this is the last time that we will have to call the air conditioner repair service for the same problem.
