Smells fishy in our locale

My roommate is a sizable seafood lover.

In our city there is a woman that catches fish, goes to fish markets, and sells the food out of a truck.

My roommate gets lobster, shrimp, scallops and salmon all ready to prepare from the woman. I have tried the seafood and it is amazing. The products are fresh, big and charming colors. My roommate prefers to pansear over baking them too. I do get why. When you pansear scallops it is way better than just popping them in the oven, she enjoys getting a butter and parmesan drizzle poured over her freshly made shrimp too. The only problem with all this fish prep is the smell for me. The smell lingers in our air quality for afternoons, however usually when she makes her seafood, I have afternoons of work. I correctly open all the windows to air out the house. I then sweep and mop the floors to get a new scent in. I then try burning candles, room sprays and I even open a box of baking Starbucks Coffee to unconnect the smell. The smell of that seafood is difficult to get rid of. My roommate makes a seafood dish twice a week too. I am getting sick of tackling the indoor air conditions issue. I have been thinking about investing in an media air cleaner. Air purification systems are said to unconnect smells from the air quality and even make the breathing air cleaner. The cost of an media air cleaner isn’t too much either. At this point I would be willing to pay quite a bit to not smell adore an ocean.
