It is still Springtime, however the humidity is worse than I remember it ever being.
My hubby tells me it is just that I am getting older plus I don’t tolerate the humidity as well.
Unfortunately, that does not explain why the humidity inside the apartment is getting worse. No matter what I do, I can’t get the humidity out of our house. My cousin told me to call the HVAC supplier plus see if there was a problem with his A/C unit. It never occurred to my hubby plus I that the A/C equipment could be the source of our problem. Once I called the HVAC supplier, they did a thorough inspection of the A/C unit, plus told us it was a bit beyond its normal lifespan. Not only was at the age of the A/C unit, however we had done a lot of updates in our home. With all the updates, it forced our A/C equipment to labor harder, plus it was not the right size A/C equipment to cover the main house, plus now the additional apartment we had added. The two of us knew that if we wanted quality A/C with in our entire home; we were going to have to update the A/C. The two of us knew it wasn’t a price we were prepared to pay, however it was a necessity. Although my hubby plus I were not cheerful about the cost of a modern A/C unit, we bit the bullet plus obtained a newer plus heavier A/C unit. For the first time in years, our home is so comfortable we don’t want to leave the house, even if it’s for work.
