When trying to make the right option to upgrade our old boiler system, I decided to have an Heating plus A/C professional come out for a free consultation.
This girl was undoubtedly knowledgeable, especially when it came to boiler systems.
She also asked me how old our water oil furnace was, despite the fact that I was pretty sure it was about 15 years old. The two of us had wonderful water plus the people I was with and I did have the anode upgraded some 5 years ago or so. The professionals then said that would extend the life of the water oil furnace by a wonderful amount. Then this Heating plus A/C professional told me that I wouldn’t even need to upgrade that old water oil furnace if I decided to upgrade to a combi boiler system. She said the current systems were super energy efficient, built with quality materials such as cast iron, plus they were known to last as long as 40 years or better. She said they had warranties that went up to 25 years, which I thought sounded pretty amazing. When I got a free estimate for a new combi boiler upgrade, I was cheerful with the price. I was thinking it was worth the cost just to upgrade the old water heater, that would be 1 less thing to worry about! After I had our new combi boiler installed, I was undoubtedly satisfied with how well the hot water worked in the house plus the heating worked wonderful when the people I was with and I ran tests on that out. There was 1 last thing the professional wanted to ask me about, plus that was if I was interested in going for an Heating plus A/C repair plan. She said they would come out properly to do tune-ups on our heating plan plus take care of regular service plus repairs for cheap. I decided to go for it, because I want to protect our investment!
