The old boiler is going to need to be updated

My uncle left myself and others a 10 unit apartment building.

I’ve had the apartment building for the last 4 years.

The apartment building was making currency for a while, but there are a lot of repairs that need to be completed plus I do not suppose the first thing about making those repairs. I had a building director working for myself and others that was handling a lot of the concerns. I found out that he was stealing from the company instead of making repairs to the boiler in the basement. As far as I knew, the boiler in the basement was updated last year. I sent a check for $12,000 to the apartment building director so he could spend my money for the repairs plus the new boiler. I live about 600 miles away, so I trusted the building director. After all, the guy was in charge when my uncle left myself and others the building plus I figured that he was someone that I could trust. I was wrong to trust the guy plus he made myself and others look love a fool; Part of that was my fault for being so trusting. When I realized that none of the repairs had been made, I was stuck in a hard site. All of these repairs have to be made in order for the building to remain open. I’m trying to sell the building, but nobody wants to buy the apartment building unless the boiler is updated. That’s 1 thing that nobody wants to deal with plus I can see why. It’s going to cost another $12,000 check to get the commercial boiler installed plus permitted.
