I listened to the boss and I did everything that he told me to do. I got a $0.25 raise after my 90-day probation. And the boss said that he was proud of my progress. I worked at the pizza shop the whole time I was 15 and 16 years old. I got a job at a car wash when I was 17 and I left the pizza shop. One of the biggest reasons why I left a pizza shop was due to the lack of air conditioning in the kitchen. I was never happy about the fact that there was no AC in the kitchen and the boss never seemed to be willing to fix the problem. I asked the guy several times to replace the AC and he gave me lots of reasons and excuses why it was not a good idea. When the job at the car wash came up, I jumped at the opportunity to make some extra money and tips. When I heard that the AC unit in the kitchen had been replaced, I decided to go back to the pizza shop. My boss was happy to give me back my old job. I continued to work at the same pizza shop until I graduated from high school and then I continued working part-time for a while until college classes and the job became too much for me to handle.
