Everyone in this city is panicking because all of us are going to have blizzards this weekend; and the grocery stores look as if they are a barren wasteland.
- The water is gone and the eggs and bread need to be restocked as well, and I went to the pet store to get pet food yesterday and that place looks as if it has been ransacked as well.
I do not suppose why most people get freaked out when all of us are expecting snow, all of us live in cold weather weather conditions and snow is not uncommon… Still, people get frazzled when the first storm comes. All of us had a ton of heating component repairs and tune-ups this week at work. I do not mind all the extra eating repairs, because I labor on commission. I get 28% of all the sales that I earn throughout the afternoon; when I started, it was only 18%, however I have been working with this heating supplier for 12 years. I also run the current recruit training program. I had to convince my boss that I was worth 28%, because nobody else makes that much commission. I had an offer from another supplier for the same and my boss didn’t want me and others to leave, but she offered me and others the raise and made me and others head of training. I earn that commission by being the top earner most weeks. In fact, I have been the top earner for 5 of the last 8 quarters. I do top quality labor and I’m lighting fast. Still, I was worn out at the end of the afternoon yesterday. I’ll be cheerful when the snow finally arrives so people will finally calm down and appreciate winter.
