My son just had to have this action figure for Christmas.
I ran all over the place, going to different stores, until I finally found it. It is based off of some sort of cartoon and it has moving wings and other parts. My son is old enough for toys like this so I didn’t think much about it until 2 month later when the wing broke off and sliced my son’s finger. He ended up having to get 4 stitches. I tried to return the toy to the store but because it had been over a month, they would not return it. That’s why I went on social media and told everybody about the dangers of this toy. It turns out that there are dozens more kids out there who have become cut or injured while playing with this particular toy. And these are just the ones that we know about from the small social media group. Together, we decided to hire a class-action attorney. We are going to sue the toy manufacturer for selling us dangerous toys for our children to play with. The class-action attorney that we hired said we have a case. He said he wouldn’t be surprised if we are each looking at a few thousand dollars out of this. He said it could be as much as $10,000 each but that he couldn’t make any promises yet. Now we’re trying to get ahold of other people to join our class action lawsuit. We have successfully gotten the toy recalled, with help of our class action lawyer. That’s one step in the right direction. At least no more kids will get hurt. It also bodes well for our court case.
