VRF system for boutique hotel

Plus, the system allows for simultaneous heating and cooling

My family has owned and operated a small hotel for the last thirty years. Our property includes twelve units, and we typically have a waiting list. Our location in close proximity to the ocean is a popular tourist destination. We’re able to compete with the larger resort because we offer a more personalized experience. Our boutique hotel is very stylish, comfortable and unique. We got to great lengths to make sure each of our guests is totally happy and satisfied with their stay. One of the major concerns in our area is temperature control. While the warm weather is a draw, no one wants to sleep in overheated, sticky conditions. We need to be sure the cooling system can handle the excessive heat and humidity. There are times when the outdoor temperature cools off and heating is required. A couple of years ago, we totally updated the hotel’s heating and cooling system. We installed a VRF or Variable Refrigerant Flow system. This type of system utilizes a single outdoor component linked to multiple indoor units. The indoor units each feature an independent thermostat that allows for zoned control. Because it is a modular design, we can add units or replace units at any time without disrupting the system. The ability of the system to vary the flow of refrigerant ensures the precise amount of heating or cooling necessary to maintain consistent temperature. Plus, the system allows for simultaneous heating and cooling. It’s capable of heating one room while cooling another. It will redirect the heat recovered from the cooling process to heat another room, achieving outstanding efficiency levels.
