Everyone in this town is panicking because the people we all live with and us are going to have blizzards this weekend. Now the grocery stores look like a barren wasteland. The water is gone and also the eggs and bread need to be restocked as well; I went to the pet store to get pet food two days ago and that place looks like it has been ransacked as well. I don’t think I understand why almost everyone gets freaked out when the people I live with and I are expecting snow! All of us live in a place with cold weather and freezing temperatures, plus snow is not uncommon. Still, people get frazzled when the first storm comes here. Both of us had a ton of heating unit repairs and also tune-ups this month at work. I don’t mind all the extra eating repairs, because I task on commission. I get a whopping 28% of all the sales that I acquire throughout the day! When I started, it was only 18%, however I have been working with this heating supplier for 12 years. I also run the modern weekly recruit training program. I had to convince my boss that I was worth the 28%, because nobody else makes that much commission here. I had an offer from another supplier for the same and of course my boss did not want me to leave at all! He offered a raise to me and made me head of training. I acquire that commission by being the top earner most weeks of the month. In fact, I have been the top earner for 5 of the last 8 quarters in total. I do top quality labor and of course I’m also lighting fast. Still, I was worn out at the end of the day last week. I’ll be ecstatic when the snow finally arrives so people will calm down at last and finally like wintertime.
