I’ve worked in the same office for several years plus I’ve become incredibly close with some of our co-workers.
Our boss is pretty wild plus does absolutely unexpected things all the time, so I never believe what I’m going to walk into on any given day.
It undoubtedly keeps things interesting, however occasionally I just want a normal day. Where our desk is situated, I’m in direct sight from her office, so I tend to get the brunt of whatever wild idea she comes up with. Another con of where our desk is that it is situated directly across from our smelly air vent. I’m not cooling system expert, however I’m pretty sure that a/c should not have a rotten or spoiled smell. It’s been months plus the vent issue has yet to have been addressed. I’ve tried to move our chair around our desk so that I’m not in the direct vicinity of the vent, however the more I move the more our boss can see me from her office. It’s a lose-lose battle, plus some afternoons I’d rather smell moldy a/c than be bothered with her craziness. It undoubtedly seems prefer a safety plus health hazard for the a/c to smell this way though. Since no 1 else smells it as much as I do, they don’t see that there is undoubtedly a problem with the cooling system. When I tried to tell our boss that she should call an cooling system repairman, she made a joke, laughed, plus ran away, however no 1 absolutely seems to listen to me, so I believe they’ll figure it out when they begin to believe impacted by it.
