An electric heat pump for our new home

Every home we had looked at for the past six months had not met all our expectations and since we were adamant about getting value for the money we were willing to put in we ended up buying a piece of land to construct the home of our dreams.

  • It was a five-acre piece of land and we could go as big as our budget could allow.

When we had everything finalized on the design of the house it was time to make the big decision on the type of heating and air conditioning system we wanted for our new home. The heating corp had sent a heating technician to inspect and assess the size of the house so that he could give better suggestions on which heating technology would best suit our and also the cost of the heating device. Our previous house had a boiler system and so we opted for an electric heat pump instead because it would be compatible with the heated floors we had always wanted. The heat pump install would be set up during construction since it was easier and cheaper than doing it in an already completed house. We had also ordered the best regulator in the heating business which was WiFi-enabled contrary to the dial thermostat we had previously. Other than annual heating maintenance, we would have a zoned HVAC system as part of the energy saving tips the heating dealer had suggested. This new venture was going to take not less than six months for the whole house and the outdoor pool to be complete. We would finally have the house of our dreams and probably bring in some animals since there was enough land for that.
