Two sets of twins who are three years apart made the house so loud, especially during winter when they are indoors for the better part of the day.
There were days when my wife and I would get home but sit in the car for a while just to prepare ourselves for the mayhem inside the house.
Every day had its share of drama and as much as we loved our children we had to come up with a solution. We live in a three-bedroomed house and the basement was the only place they had to play in and it was cramped with all of them playing there at the same time since it was not big. We contacted the same heating technician who did our regular heating maintenance because he was very good at what he did plus he understood our installation better than anyone else. He later zoned the HVAC system and replaced the dial thermostat with a smart one as part of the energy-saving tips he had suggested and two years later we have not regretted taking his suggestion.
