I’ve never been very educated in homeownership or the several responsibilities it entails; Growing up, my parents didn’t tell me anything about it & as an adult I’ve only lived in apartments where it’s up to the proprietor to take care of these duties.
This has been both a gift & a curse, because now my woman & I are living in our first house together.
I only now appreciate how much toil goes into maintaining a yard, a roof, & an Heating & Air Conditioning system; Pretty much immediately after my associate and I moved into our house, the central heating & cooling system went down. It turns out that the component was well over 15 years old, & the prior owners hadn’t gained routine maintenance from an Heating & Air Conditioning professional, however instead tried to care for the boiler & air conditioner themselves. This evidently led to more wear & tear than was necessary on the machinery, & my associate and I were stuck replacing the entire Heating & Air Conditioning system within months of moving in. Since my associate and I had to make a large investment, I started researching all of our chances for boilers. It turns out that there are far better alternatives to the traditional forced air boiler on the market. In fact, these electricity-powered boilers are literally the least efficient models you can purchase! I had no idea, all my life my associate and I had the wrong kind of boiler & were wasting currency! With that expertise, we’re now ready to make our first large purchase as homeowners, & invest in a high quality & high efficiency boiler.
