Having a working air conditioning system is important for a party. I learned this the hard way. You see, my air conditioner stopped working about a week ago, and I really don’t have the money to hire an HVAC technician to come and fix my air conditioner. I wish that I did have the money right now, but it is really expensive to get anything HVAC related fixed. I had to hire an HVAC technician to fix my furnace a couple of winters ago, and that was a huge mistake. It ended up costing me over seven hundred dollars. I was so upset. I don’t have seven hundred dollars to spend on my air conditioning system right now, so I decided to go ahead and live without it. Well, it was all fine and dandy until I decided to have a party at my house. The party had actually been planned for about three months, so I didn’t want to cancel just because I didn’t have air conditioning. It was going to rain the day of the party, so I knew that it would have to be an indoor party, but the fact that I didn’t have air conditioning didn’t bother me. It turned out to be the most miserable party ever. It was comfortable in my house with just me, but when thirty-five people showed up, it got so hot in my house. It was hot and sticky, and the smell was a bit stinky. The party had to end early because everyone was sweating and miserable. I will never host an indoor party without air conditioning again.
