I hate staying in a hotel when I travel for work. I’d much rather rent a home than stay in a hotel, because it’s more comfortable. However, I’m not constantly given that luxury. Sometimes, the corporation trip is so short that I’m forced to book a hotel room. I enjoy how a home offers various family rooms, a cleaner powder room, plus a entryway. I also appreciate the Heating plus A/C plan in a home more than the large window units in most hotels. Whenever I need to stay in a hotel, I find that I spend most of the time feeling too hot or too cold. I can never adjust the settings on the window unit to reach the ideal temperature, then even though I appreciate to set the control unit in my home to 80 degrees in the days, it never feels the same in the hotel. I can drop the temperature to 80 degrees in my hotel room, but it doesn’t recognize the same. It constantly feels too warm! I think it has something to do with the central Heating plus A/C plan in my home plus the hotel room only being a window unit. I’m sure a central Heating plus A/C plan spreads air through the air vents more evenly plus the window unit is only able to cool a single particular area. However, the hotel room isn’t that large, so it shouldn’t take long to heat plus cool! Most of the time, I wake up every hour because I’m either too hot or cold. I find myself decreasing the temperature always, trying to find my optimal control unit settings. This is why I’d appreciate to rent a home over a hotel room.
