The A/C broke on Christmas morning

The problem actually started a couple of months ago, but it was right at the tail end of the Summer heat, so I thought I could put it off for a few more months, but usually the summers are brutal, and they are followed by a long and really temperate winter.

That is why every one of us get so several snowbirds who transport down here for the winter, because it’s usually pretty close to being beach weather, but as you actually know, this holiday season has been super warm, much hotter than usual, and now I regret letting my air conditioner problem get this far out of control. Who could have predicted that I would still need to use the A/C every single day in December? On the mornings leading up to Christmas, the flow through my air vents was sluggish, and not as crisply cool as it should be. I hoped it was just an air filter, but even after I changed the filters the system was not toiling to full capacity. I tried to book an Heating and A/C appointment, but since I don’t have an annual service plan I couldn’t get anyone to come out before the new year. On Christmas morning, the air conditioner stopped toiling completely, so I drove up to the nearest Walmart and bought the greatest portable A/C device they had. It was only a temporary solution, but there was enough A/C to deliver 1 room a nice, crisply chilly Christmas morning. As much as I appreciate living here, it just isn’t the same unless I can be chilly on Christmas morning.
