I’ve never actually had a surprise party before this past year.
Everybody decided to do something special for my birthday, and I can’t believe they pulled it off.
Some of my buddies said that for my birthday, we were going out on the lake to go fishing. This of course was a plot to get me away from the house for a weekend when they would have HVAC professionals at my place installing a special type of heating system. I had a great time out on the lake and we were out there for two days. At first I thought it was kind of long, but it was a great trip and the boat we were on had a powerful cooling system that had the ideal temperature control settings. It was relaxing fishing out there, cooking up the food and having drinks. I told my buddies we should do something like this every single year, and everybody agreed with me that it was a great time. When I got back home and all my family and friends were there to shout surprise at me, I just about fainted from shock! Everybody had all kinds of great gifts. One buddy got me a UV air purifier and I knew I was going to be using that all the time, especially in my home office! I got a smart thermostat from my wife, but the main gift everybody pitched in on! It was radiant heated floors and I was able to do the honors and crank on the heating system! Everybody felt like they were in heaven when those heated floors kicked in and I realized this was the best birthday party I have ever had!
