When you live in hot weather conditions like I do, you’re used to the heat killing everything it touches. I do not exaggerate when I say the heat honestly does kill everything it touches, but I’m sure it certainly gets into the 90s here. And when the hot and cold temperatures get that high, everything that is left out in the sun for too long will get so scorched. Lots of people, including yourself, are going to get sunburned if you’re outside without sunscreen. I used to have some potted plants that were out of my front patio that I was honestly proud of, and I had been growing these attractive flowers all year and they were thriving in the sunlight and moderate weather conditions. That was until the summer weeks came along and I forgot to put them inside. You can only assume what happened. Being able to be in the cool air of the air conditioner would have protected them from the horrible heat from the sun. The sun legitimately nearly killed all of them, as I had five plants that I put out there and four of the five died. The other one was wilted severely, however with a lot of watering and TLC I was able to bring it back from the brink of death. I’m so delighted that my pal and I have a good quality AC here, because otherwise I would be burning up like my plants. I’ll be so enthusiastic when the summer is over.
