Sometimes I surprise myself with just how clumsy I actually am.
I have always been kind of clumsy, ever since I was a little kid.
I used to always hurt myself by tripping on things and falling into holes and just basically being a clumsy person. As I have gotten older, it has not really gotten all that much better for me. Most of the people that I know well make fun of me because I am always tripping and falling or dropping things on my foot or more random things like that. It doesn’t bother me that they make fun of me, because it is kind of funny, to tell you the truth. Sometimes I just can’t believe it myself. The other day, I decided that it would be a good idea for me to climb up on a ladder and clean the ductwork in my house myself. I thought that the ductwork needed cleaning, but I really didn’t want to pay for an HVAC company to come out and do it professionally. I thought that it was something that I could just handle myself. Looking back on it now, I really do not know what I was thinking.I should have known better than to try to clean the duct work myself. Climbing up on a ladder is just a recipe for disaster for me. When I climbed up the air and started to unscrew the air vent covers on the vent in the hallway, I lost my balance and fell off the ladder. Then the air vent cover fell and landed on my head. It was quite comical, but also quite painful.
