I just can’t last very long without A/C in the summertime.
I don’t know what it is, but ever since I started to get older, the heat has been bothering me more and more.
Maybe it’s one of those things that happens to you when you pass 40 or something. I don’t know, and I’ve never really asked anyone else about it, either. I’m not really sure if it’s something that I should ask my doctor about or if it’s just normal. Either way, it’s definitely something that I have been noticing a lot lately. I actually made all of my plans this summer based on whether or not the place I was going was going to have air conditioning or not. I know that seems silly, but at this point, I have been so miserable in places without A/C so many times that I just don’t want to have to ever deal with it again. If I have to go somewhere that I know is going to be outside and the temperatures are going to be really hot, then I take a cooling towel with me to wrap around my neck. I know that I look like a weirdo with the cooling towel around my neck, but I honestly do not care at all because staying comfortable is more important to me than anything else. If I had a portable air conditioning unit, then I would wheel it around with me on a little cart and let it blow out on me all summer long. That would definitely make people give me weird looks!
