When the HVAC contractor did an inspection on our central air conditioner last year, he told us Pete and I were going to need a newer air conditioner unit for our house. I didn’t want to continue using a traditional HVAC. I was so exhausted of having to dodge the ugly HVAC duct in the basement every time I went down to do the laundry. I had many dings and scars on my head where I turned too suddenly plus gouged my head on the exposed metal corners. Since Pete and I already central HVAC, my hubby didn’t want to change anything. Pete and I only needed the air conditioner unit, plus the heating system still had at least five or six good years before it would start giving us trouble. I asked how he would feel about it, if Pete and I used window air conditioner units until it was time to replace the old heating system? He grimaced however asked if I didn’t guess it would be cumbersome removing them in the winter season plus putting them back in when summer time arrived. I knew they used winter season covers to put on the outside of the window AC units. Pete and I could even use shrink wrap to keep the frigid from coming through. When the heating system needed replacing, my pal and I could install something weird than central HVAC. He knew Pete and I had been dealing with dust since my pal and I obtained the house. My allergies were getting a lot worse, plus my asthma was also worsening. I didn’t want the HVAC duct when Pete and I had the new heating system installed, plus now Pete and I were having the same discussion. He said my pal and I would try the new window air conditioner units, however if they didn’t cool unquestionably well, Pete and I were getting a new central air conditioner unit.
