There were so many things I wanted to do growing up, it was a sizable decision after all, what would you spend doing for the rest of your life? I wanted to become an astronaut for a while, until I found out what they had to endure in order to even get into the spaceship.
Then I wanted to become an artist of some kind, even though I wasn’t patient enough to practice frequently.
So I finally decided on trying to be a musician. But first, I had to learn how to play an instrument. I started with the guitar, & had a great neighbor who helped me. Even after several weeks, I saw no improvement in my playing, to put it simply, I just sucked horribly! I tried other instruments, & had similar results. I know music wasn’t in me. I eventually lost the last of my patience & decided to try something new. With a lot of pressure from my dad, I eventually became a heating & A/C specialist. I honestly thought this was going to be a big waste of time. But I went through Heating & A/C trade school to placate my dad. When I graduated as a certified A/C worker, I felt proud of myself, & I soon grew to truly enjoy my modern job as a heating & A/C specialist. I am really blissful now that my dad did put pressure on me, he knew what he was talking about when he said it was a great industry to get into. Now I have finally found something that suits myself and others & that I enjoy.
