I love going outdoors when the weather is warm and sunny. It is especially nice if there is a breeze. I like being outside if the weather is comfortable. There are a lot of places that I prefer to go like the river, lake, and the state park. All of these places have a lot of fun activities. At the river, I can go kayaking or tubing. The water is very cold and refreshing. The lake is a little different. The water isn’t as cold as the river. Fishing is an excellent activity for the lake. The state park has hiking trails and lots of activities for my friends and I to enjoy together. We often go rock climbing if we can get a group of people together. Several weeks ago, my friends and I went camping all weekend and the weather wasn’t very warm. It was very cold and chilly and by the time I got home, I was ready for a hot shower. I turned on the furnace as soon as I walked through the door. It wasn’t particularly cold inside of the house, but I was cold and I didn’t want to get out of a hot shower with cold temperatures in the bathroom. I was still cold when I jumped into bed with the remote control and a hot burrito. I left the furnace running all night. The overnight temperatures were much colder than the forecast predicted and I was happy that the furnace was running when I woke up in the morning. It would have taken a long time to warm up the house when the temperatures outside were only 48 degrees.
