I really love going to my art class each week, but I really wish that the classroom were a few degrees cooler. I honestly really do not think that the art teacher even notices what the temperature of the room is. She is one of those people who seems to live with her head in the clouds most of the time. She is really creative, but the temperature of a room does not really seem to be one of the things that she would ever be concerned with. Meanwhile, all of the students in the class are sitting there sweating at their easels. I really love the class, but sometimes I get a headache from being there in the heat for such a long time. I think that it would be really easy to fix the issue with the indoor air quality, since the rest of the art school seems to have the temperature settings at a normal level. It just seems to be the classroom that we are in that’s an issue. I thought about mentioning it to her last session because I thought maybe she would just turn the thermostat down in our specific room, but I never really got up the guts to do it. I don’t like any sort of confrontation, even if it is something as simple as asking someone to turn down the thermostat! I guess I am going to have to get the nerve up to do it or end up dropping the class because I can’t stand it in there for much longer.
