I’m going to have a fireplace in the house this year during the holidays and I just can’t wait! I have always wanted to have a fireplace, but up until now, I have never lived anywhere that had one.
My grandparents used to have a wood burning fireplace in the big living room in their house back when I was growing up but up until this year, I haven’t had the chance to live in a place with a fireplace at all.
I have really wanted to have one, though. I think that a fireplace, whether it’s a wood burning one or a gas log fireplace, always makes the house feel much cozier and festive around the holidays. I have been begging my husband to get a fireplace installed in the house for a long time, but it has never really been the right time for it. We have had issues with the house here and there and sometimes, we just don’t have the time or the money to get something as big as a fireplace project done. However, this fall seems like it is going to be the perfect time to finally get my fireplace installed and I am so happy about it! Even though it is going to be really expensive to get the fireplace put in this year, it’s going to be my birthday present and my Christmas present from my husband. I am so excited about it that I just can’t wait to get it done. I know that our house is going to look amazing this winter whenever the fireplace is finally installed and ready to go.
