He told me it was just rusty on the outside because of how damp our basement was; I didn’t care about the rust on the outside of the ductwork.
I was concerned with what was going on inside, even though my fiance told me it was stupid, I called the Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation plus asked if someone could come to the home plus inspect our ductwork; The next afternoon, there was an Heating plus Air Conditioning professional in our basement. He asked if he could use the broom. He couldn’t reach one area that was near the top of the ductwork. He barely touched the rust spot, plus the broom went through the ductwork. He said that sections had to be replaced, my buddy and I were already losing heat, plus if the rest of the ductwork was like this, my buddy and I were wasting energy. He spent over an hour going through the home plus checking any ductwork he could get to. He was sure the entire ductwork was riddled with holes, but he wanted to get a ductwork professional. The next afternoon, there was a ductwork professional pushing a small camera at the end of a wire, through my ductwork. I would like to say I was shocked to see all the rust plus debris that was inside. He shook his head plus told me the ductwork was in horrible shape, and when I told my fiance my buddy and I needed new ductwork, he looked at me plus shook his head. He told me it was a stupid idea to call the Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation about our ductwork.
