My sister always has to one up me, no matter what it is that we are doing.
Sometimes she is so annoying that I really can’t stand to be around her at all. I guess we have always had a little bit of sibling rivalry going on, but my sister has always taken it to the extreme. No matter what we are doing, she always has to win.I think that it is ridiculous now that we are adults. I really don’t think that this should be a thing between us anymore at all. However, she continually tries to beat me at whatever we’re doing, whether it’s a real game or not. Recently, she overheard my mom telling my dad that they needed to get a new HVAC system for their house. Whenever we started talking about what we might do for their anniversary party this year, she told me that she already had a gift picked out for them from her. When I asked her what it was, I thought she was going to tell me that she was going to get them a new TV or something like that. When it turned out to be a brand new heating and cooling system for the entire house, I nearly lost my mind! I still cannot believe that my sister thinks that that is a good anniversary present for our parents! I mean, who in the world gives someone a heating and cooling system as a gift? My sister just wants to come out looking like a better child. I know that’s all it is!
