My sister really spoils her dog like nobody’s business! She loves that silly dog like it is her very own small furry child.
She does not have any kids of her own yet, but whenever she does end up having them someday, I worry that they will be super spoiled like the dog is.
It’s like she just can’t say no. She is always buying him furry sweaters and extra toys and new chew treats. She also pays for him to get expensive haircuts and to get his teeth brushed by a professional groomer. It’s always crazy to me just how much money she ends up spending on this dog. A couple of weeks ago, when I went over to her house I noticed that there was an HVAC technician in her driveway. He was getting out of an HVAC truck and when I went inside I asked her what was going on with her heating and cooling system. I thought that she might have been having trouble with her central air conditioning system. However, that did not turn out to be the case at all. She said that her air conditioning system was running just fine but she had decided that she was going to put an HVAC system in the dog house in the backyard. I just stopped what I was doing and stared at her for a minute. She didn’t understand why I was looking at her like that, but I just shook my head. I have no idea how much it is going to cost her to get the HVAC system put in the doghouse, but no matter how much she spends, I think that it’s going to be too much.
