My kid brother said it would make an ugly mess in my house, having radiant heating installed.
I knew the HVAC pros would replace things as they were originally, but I was wondering if the kid wasn’t right? I called the HVAC contractor again to ask for more data on weird radiant heating systems. My hubby Max saw the HVAC repair van when he got property plus asked what was going on. I told Max the HVAC contractor had just arrived, plus I wanted to discuss radiant heating in some areas of the house. Max immediately argued, because he didn’t want radiant heating in the home offices. I didn’t want radiant heating in the home offices or family room, but I thought it would be perfect in the washrooms. When the HVAC contractor asked where Max and I wanted the radiant heating, I told him I wanted it for the washrooms. He said Max and I could run water pipes, however that would make a huge mess, plus it could be high-priced if my pal and I didn’t already have a boiler. He asked if Max and I had considered running heating tapes under the washroom tiles or carpeting. The heater tapes are electric plus a control unit is used to control the amount of heat we want. It would make less mess, plus it would do the same as water pipes. He said Max and I could also install electric heat tape in the family room or the home office, however Max said no. Max and I had a fireplace in the family room, plus my pal and I wanted our home offices cool! People can laugh all they want to, but I was going to have radiant heated flooring in the washrooms.
