She never heard anything from the owner

Last year Christy helped a homeowner with a cooling system service and she didn’t get paid the day that she completed the service. This homeowner wanted to write a check for the services, but Christy told him that she would rather send him a bill. Christy tried to reach the client by phone multiple times after she sent out the invoice. But, she never heard anything from the homeowner. Christy knew the guy had to get the information, because she sent it right to the address where she performed the services. Christy tried to reach the owner several times to settle the bill and then she decided to show up at his bungalow unannounced. The homeowner was really surprised to see Christy at his front door. He was entertaining some friends at the time. Christy wasn’t there to cause trouble, so she told the guy that she wanted to talk to him about some business. The guy asked her to give him a moment. He said he would meet Christy outside in his truck. Christy went out to the truck and the guy never came outside. Several cops came to the address about 1 hour later and told her that she had to leave. The owner of the bungalow complained that Christy was sitting outside and stocking him. He said that she was being aggressive and trying to demand money from him. The cops told her that it was best to leave the property and take it up with a small claims court.
