Usually I love most of my clients, but honestly, sometimes certain people really make it hard to be a realtor.
I don’t know why some people are so hard to please, though.
I think that it’s silly to be quite so picky, even when you are trying to buy a new house. I mean, it’s common sense to just know that when you are buying a house, you can change certain things in the house once you get moved in if there are things that you want to change. The main thing about the house that you really need to love is the location. Everything else, and I mean everything, can be changed later on. That’s what I keep telling people but it seems like some people just don’t understand that. That’s what happened with one family that I worked with recently. The husband was an HVAC technician and he did not want to have to do one single thing to the house after they moved in. It’s like he was looking for a place that just did not exist except for in his dreams. I found at least three homes with everything that they wanted and in the right locations. However, in all three instances, they would have had to add a whole home air purification to the HVAC system in the houses and he just refused to do it. I thought it was so silly for them to turn down what may have been the perfect home for them just because of something that could have been so easily added.
